Developed for the California market, Monster Round Catalytic slip-on mufflers are listed by the California Air Resources Board as an exempt aftermarket part under the Executive Order No. K-006-1. Under the grant of this EO, these slip-ons are permitted for sale and use with Vance & Hines Power Duals or Dresser Duals head pipes on all two-wheeled Harley-Davidson Touring models, including CVO models from 2007 through 2013.Monster Round Catalytic slip-ons house two three-way catalytic converters and have been tested with Vance & Hines Power Duals or Dresser Duals to demonstrate that they meet emissions standards applicable in California.
