The Competition Series was designed and tested for sport ATVs. It features three inserts that affect the sound and power differently, giving you complete control over the type of power and sound you need, when you need it.
The Yamaha YFZ450R-X exhaust is available as a Slip-On System in the Competition Series exhausts. HMF exhaust on the YFZ450R-X platform is used worldwide by both professional racers and recreational riders alike who are looking for even more performance out of their ride. The single 4" aluminum silencers picks up about 5 hp and 3 ft-lbs with a significant increase in sound and much better tone than the stock exhaust. The Competition Series comes with 3 different inserts to adjust the sound levels and power according to the riding area, restrictions, and rider preference. Significantly lighter than the stock silencer the HMF slip-on includes the HMF silencer, hardware, and mid-pipe to connect to the factory headpipe.
