OUR NEWEST LINE IS MADE FROM A SPACE-AGE ALUMINUM ALLOY WHICH MAINTAINS IT'S HIGH TENSILE STRENGTH UP TO 700°F ( 380°C), 50% HIGHER THAN A CONVENTIONAL CAST PISTON. THIS HIGH TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVES FATIGUE STRENGTH AND IMPACT TOUGHNESS, WHICH MEANS THAT WE WILL KEEP YOU RIDING LONGER AND HARDER THAN THE COMPETITION.
A machined smooth piston crown should reflect combustion heat while reducing carbon buildup and protecting the top of the piston. Some tests have shown that a machined smooth head can in crease HP and fuel economy by up to 6%.
