The ski dollies are a bit flawed in design

The ski dollies are a bit flawed in design.
First, the wheels are showing a great deal of wear after only one move across about 75’ of concrete driveway between my two garages. I will probably have to replace them pretty soon.
Secondly, any turning of the skis causes one side or the other to pop off the ski.
I will be drilling holes in both sides of the arms with the little “teeth” that are designed to hold the skis, and placing threaded rod with lock nuts to hold the arms and keep them from spreading out when a person turns the skis during a movement.
I can send you a picture if this experiment works and keeps the arms in proper placement on the skis…. If you are interested…
