My fuel gauge doesn't work after the part replacement. I was simply referred to allballs who has...

This fuel pump worked on my 18 crew 570 however now my fuel gauge doesn’t work. I’ve cleaned the connection. I also emailed lion parts who referred me to allballs. They haven’t responded to my questions of how to resolve the fuel gauge issue. I’m not sure if a ground isn’t making connection or if the float sending unit is inop. It got me rolling but not super satisfied with support or lack there of.
