Dakota Digital VHX-95C-PU VHX Gauge Kit for 1995-1998 Chevrolet C/K Pickup, 1995-2000 Chevrolet and GMC SUV, and HD models delivers a complete direct-fit instrument cluster replacement with modern analog gauges, customizable digital displays, LED backlighting, and precision electronic sensors. Designed for classic OBS GM trucks, this premium gauge package upgrades factory instrumentation while supporting a wide range of stock and engine swap applications.

The VHX-95C-PU replaces the complete factory instrument cluster and lens assembly with a newly engineered billet aluminum housing and optical-grade polycarbonate lenses for a clean factory-inspired appearance with modern functionality. This system is a direct bolt-in replacement but requires hardwiring into the factory harness rather than plugging into the original connectors. The OEM dash bezel shown in product images is for display purposes only and is not included.

The VHX Series combines fully illuminated needles, backlit gauge faces, high-visibility LCD message centers, precision microprocessor-controlled stepper motors, and solid-state sending units to deliver exceptional accuracy and reliability. Every system is engineered and manufactured in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and backed by Dakota Digital's limited lifetime warranty.

The analog gauges include a 0-120 MPH speedometer with optional 0-195 km/h version, 0-8,000 RPM tachometer, 0-80 PSI oil pressure gauge, 100-260°F water temperature gauge with optional 40-120°C version, fuel level gauge, and 9-17 VDC voltmeter. Bright LED backlighting provides excellent day and night visibility while maintaining a clean OEM-inspired appearance.

The integrated digital message center displays odometer, dual trip meters, clock, estimated driving range, digital speedometer, digital tachometer, oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel percentage. Performance functions include 0-60 MPH timing, 1/8-mile and 1/4-mile elapsed time and trap speed, maximum speed recall, and maximum RPM recall. The LCD display automatically adjusts contrast for outstanding visibility in direct sunlight while providing crisp nighttime illumination.

Built-in indicator functions include left and right turn signals, high beam, check engine, parking brake, cruise control, 4WD, wait-to-start, and optional gear position display when paired with the Dakota Digital GSS-3000 Gear Position Sensor. Not every factory warning light is duplicated by the system.

The included components feature a ground-isolated 1/8-inch NPT water temperature sender with a 10-foot harness, a solid-state 1/8-inch NPT oil pressure sender with a 10-foot harness, a cable-driven speed sensor with a 10-foot harness, multiple thread adapter bushings including 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch, 1/2-inch NPT plus 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 adapters, and the Dakota Digital control box measuring approximately 5.5 x 3.5 x 1 inches.

System calibration is handled using the included push-button controls, allowing simple programming of the speedometer, cylinder count, fuel level sender, and other configuration settings while also providing access to the digital information center.

The VHX-95C-PU is compatible with a variety of Dakota Digital accessories including the DIM-1 Light Dimming Knob for on-the-fly brightness adjustment, STA-1000 OBD-II Speedometer and Tachometer Interface, SGI-100BT Universal Speedometer and Tachometer Interface, BIM-01-2 OBD-II/CAN Interface Module, BIM-01-2-HLLY Holley EFI Interface Module, PAC-2800BT Bluetooth Electronic Fan Controller, GSS-3000 Universal Gear Position Sensor, and GPS-50-2 GPS Speed and Compass Sender. The GSS-3000 is required if gear position display functionality is desired.
