Like our other systems we use our superior designed 8 ply filters that have a 99.7% efficiency rate stopping all dirt and fine particles. This complete system comes ready to bolt on and unleash the beast inside your machine.
Fits all years of production.
Install Instructions:
1. If using the stock barb, place in rubber grommet on side of intake tube (disregard if using supplied barb).
2. Place rubber adapter and hose clamps on circular end of intake tube.
3. Connect rubber adapter to throttle body and snugly tighten the hoseclamps.
4. Remove the hose clamp from around the filter and place outerwear around the supplied filter (your filter comes pre-oiled). Ensure the hose clamp is on the flat part of the filter to ensure proper fitment.
5. Then place the filter through the bracket as shown and place the hose clamp around the filter again (be sure not to tighten the hose clamp down).
6. Place the filter and bracket setup on to the intake tube. You will be using the stock hardware from the stock intake to secure the bracket. Tighten the hose clamp down so the filter fits snugly around the intake tube.
7. Place the heat shield on the left side of the bike, in-between the exhaust and intake. Mark where the holes line up on the sub-frame using a felt pen. Drill into your previously marked spots using a 9/64" drill bit. Use the provided screws to tighten the heat shield onto the sub-frame.
