Proper assembly of the cam chest is one of the most common tasks performed on Harley-Davidson® engines. Assembling the cam support plate along with oil pump, gerotors and pump cover to perfectly align with the pinion shaft flat, all while properly seating the oil pump O-ring in the crankcase can be a challenge for one set of hands. This tool was designed to help assemble the complete cam chest correctly, in a quick and efficient manner.
